L'HOSPITALET JT, DAY 3: FMP ZELEZNIK WINS IT AGAIN!

BCFMP Zeleknik Champion The Ciutat De L'Hospitalet Junior Tournament has reached its 29th edition and came with a new and exciting feature due to an agreement with Euroleague Basketball. The winner and runner-up teams at the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Classification Tournament L’Hospitalet, FMP and AXA FC Barcelona, have received invitations to the Nike International Junior Tournament at the 2008 Final Four in Madrid. Defending champion FMP edged AXA FCB 79-78 in the final on a game-winning layup by Bojan Subotic. He also led the winners with 37 points. FMP used a 22-2 run to build a 15-point lead, but Barcelona returned to the game and took the lead, 77-78, on a free throw by Alejandro Hernandez before Subotic became the game hero. In the first semifinal, FMP downed Real Madrid 103-96 behind 26 points each from Andrija Milutinovic and Subotic. Dejan Musli added 16 and Nikola Vukasovic had 13 points and 7 assists for FMP. Nikola Mirotic, who was chosen as the Tournament MVP, led Real Madrid with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Meanwhile, Barcelona thrashed Cibona 88-67 behind 22 points from Mihad Djedovic.
