Real Madrid brings back Iker Iturbe
Real Madrid has bolstered its frontcourt with the return of former player Iker Iturbe for the remainder of the season. Iturbe (31, 199), who arrives from Italian side Fortutido Bologna, played for Madrid between 1998 and 2002. The forward will help the Spanish champs offset the loss of injured center Lazaros Papadopoulos. Before joining Bologna this season, Iturbe had spent his entire professional career in Madrid, playing for Real Madrid rival Estudiantes between 2002 and 2007. He has 42 Euroleague appearances under his belt with the two Madrid clubs. Iturbe averaged 7.6 points per game this season for Fortutido.
