Benetton Basket Treviso gained its first win in the Nike Junior Tournament in Belgrade, Serbia after trashing Fenerbahce Ulker 94-65. Benetton will face Bosna Sarajevo in the fight for the ninth spot while the Turkish side will go against Prokom Trefl Sopot in hope to avoid the last spot in the final standings. Benetton dominated the game right from the tip off and took an early double-digit lead on the way to a 30-10 first quarter lead. Polish prospect Power Forward Jakus Wojciejsowski led the way for the Italian side as Benetton held a 46-24 lead at half time. While Fenerbahce hit only a single three pointer out of 12 shots, Benetton dominated the boards and also with the help of Samuel Deguara, the 16 year old 223cm center of Malta, who spent almost 12 minutes on court. In the second half Benetton only increased the lead and cruised to a big 29 point win. Wojciejscowski led the way with 24 points and seven rebounds. Alessandro Gentile, son of the former legend, added 15 while Eroc Chinellato scored 14. Batuhan Bulduk had 20 and Ayhan Numanovic scored 14 for the losing side.
