Vitali (201, 22) arrives from Premiata Montegranaro, where he has played in each of the last three seasons. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 39 Italian League games this season, helping Montegranaro to finish fifth overall and reach the quarterfinals, losing the best-of-five series against Armani Jeans. Vitali has also played for Montepaschi Siena and Virtus Bologna in his short, promising career. Vitali is not a Euroleague newcomer, however, as he already took part in 2 games with Montepaschi at age 18, including the 2004 Third Place game.
