Panathinaikos keeps getting ready for the upcoming 2008-09 Euroleague season by inking swingman Dusan Kecman to a two-year
deal. Just as recently signed star center Nikola Pekovic, Kecman (197, 30) arrives from Partizan Igokea, where he averaged
10.9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 23 Euroleague games. Not only Kecman won three titles - Adriatic League, Serbian
League and Serbian Cup - with Partizan last season, but also helped the team to reach the Euroleague Quarterfinal Playoffs,
losing in a dramatic best-of-three series against Tau Ceramica. Kecman boosted his numbers up to 14.5 points and 8 rebounds
in 2 Top 16 games against the Greens. He has also played for BC Kyiv in Ukraine, Telindus Oostende in Belgium, Efes Pilsen in
Turkey, Makedonikos in Greece, as well as for FMP Zeleznik and Beopetrol in his native Serbia. He has also helped Partizan to
win the 2007 Adriatic League, the 2003 Yugoslavian League, the 2004 Serbia and Montenegro League and the 2007 Serbian League.
He has also been a member of his national team. Kecman is the fourth signing in Panathinaikos this season along with Pekovic,
Antonis Fotsis and Drew Nicholas.
