Partizan inks Rasic, Aleksic
Partizan Igokea has started to put togther its roster for the 2008-09 Euroleague season by inking playmakers Aleksandar Rasic and Vukasin Aleksic. Rasic (195, 24) arrives from Alba Berlin, where he averaged 4.9 points and 1.6 assists in 9 ULEB Cup games last season. He has also played for Dynamo Moscow in Russia, Efes Pilsen in Turkey, as well as for FMP Zeleznik and Borac Cacak in his native Serbia. Rasic helped FMP to win the 2005 Serbia and Montenegro Cup and the 2006 Adriatic League titles, as well as being a member of the Serbian national team. Meanwhile, Aleksic (185, 23) arrives from Swisslion Takovo Lions Vrsac, averaging 11.2 points and 5.9 assists in 22 Serbian Superleague games this season. He has also played for Zdravlje Leskovac, Avala Ada and Hemofarm in his native Serbia. Both players are set to replace Milt Palaciom who joined Dynamo Moscow a month ago.
