Felice Scandone Air Avellino has announced that center Eric Williams will be back in the team for the upcoming 2008-09 season, in which the club makes its Euroleague debut. Williams (206, 24) played a key role in Avellino's outstanding season, the best in club history, in which the team won the Italian Cup and made it to the Italian League semifinals. Williams averaged 12.8 points and 8.1 rebounds in 40 Italian League games last season. He has also played for Tisettanta Cantu since finishing his four-year college career at Wake Forest University (NCAA). "I am happy to have him back in the team," coach Zare Markovski said. "We all know how Williams can contribute to the development of our team."
