DKV Joventut adds size with Pops Mensah-Bonsu
Nana Mensah-Bonsu - Benetton Tamoil DKV Joventut has announced an agreement with center Pops Mensah-Bonsu, who inked a one-year deal with the team. Mensah-Bonsu (207, 24) arrives from CB Granada, where he played just one game, a do-or-die one for his team against Tau Ceramica. He helped Granada to stay in the Spanish League, leading his team with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Mensah-Bonsu had started the 2007-08 season with Benetton Tamoil Treviso, averaging 10 points and 8.4 rebounds in 11 ULEB Cup games. He has also played for Fort Worth in the NBDL and Dallas in the NBA since finishing his four-year college career at George Washington University (NCAA). Mensah-Bonsu averaged 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 23 NCAA games in the 2005-06 season.
