Panionios On Telecoms has resigned Ivan Zoroski for the upcoming season, the club announced Thursday - the player's 29th birthday! Zoroski (195, 29) was one of the most important pieces of Panionios's playoff run, which saw it clinch third place in the Greek League and a ticket to the Euroleague. He averaged 11.8 points for Panionios in the ULEB Cup last season and 11.4 points in the Greek League. Zoroski also brings some Euroleague experience to the club after taking part in 13 games and scoring 9.8 points per game with Olympiacos in the 2004-05 season. Zoroski began his career with FMP Zeleznik from 2000 to 2004, helping his team to make it all the way to the ULEB Cup semifinals his last season, losing against eventual champion Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem on points differential. He has also played for Spirou Charleroi in Belgium, Dynamo Moscow Region in Russia and Grupo Capitol Valladolid in Spain as well as being a member of the Yugoslavian under-21 national team. Zoroski also helped FMP to win the Adriatic League title in 2004 and lift the Yugoslavian Cup trophy in 2003.
