FC Barcelona signs playmaker Andre Barrett
Andre Barrett (nba.com)FC Barcelona has signed playmaker Andre Barrett for the next two seasons, the club announced Wednesday. Barrett (178, 26) makes his European debut with the Spanish giants after spending the past four seasons with six different clubs in the NBA. Barrett has played a total of 67 games for Houston, Orlando, Phoenix, Toronto, Chicago and the Los Angeles Clippers. He also played for Florida, Bakersfield and Austin in the NBDL. Berrett became a top prospect at Seton Hall University, where he averaged 15.3 points and 5.4 assists over four seasons between 2000 and 2004. He joins a crowded Barcelona backcourt that features Juan Carlos Navarro, Jaka Lakovic, Gianluca Basile and Victor Sada.
