Panionios lands assists ace Miles

Aaron Miles, to Panionios Ons Telecom Greece's newest Euroleague team, Panionios On Telecoms, announced on Tuesday the signing of point guard Aaron Miles, who was one of the top assist men the only season he played in the competition. Miles (185, 23) arrives to Panionios after having spent last season with Cajasol Sevilla of the Spanish League, where he averaged 9.3 points and 3.5 assists. His only Euroleague season was the previous one, 2006-07, when he helped lead Pau-Orthez into the Top 16 with averages of 10.2 points and 3.7 assists, the latter ranking him eighth for the season. Previous to playing in Europe, Miles spent a half-season in the NBA with Golden State and four at the University of Kansas, which he left as the top player all-time in assists.
