Kus, loaned back to Cibona
Despite leaving Cibona last summer to join Unicaja in Spain, the Croatian team confirmed on Friday that point guard Davor Kus (190, 30) will be back to Zagreb for one year on loan from the Spanish squad. Last season, Kus played 20 Euroleague games with Unicaja averaging 8.1 points and 1.5 assists per night to reach the Top 16. In the Spanish League, he reached the semifinals in the playoffs, falling to eventual champ Tau Ceramica. Kus' professional career had been tightly tied to Cibona as previously he had played there for six years in two spans. In between he had also played for AEK Athens of Greece during the 2004-05 season.
