NIKEiD Fantasy Challenge: Theo's team!
Well, everyone, here below you'll find my first NIKEiD Fantasy Challenge team. And I do mean my first one - ever! My friends have talked with me about the game over the years, because they love it, but personally I never tried. I think that some professional players might keep track like fans of the statistics that make Fantasy Challenge fun, but not all of them.
So when choosing my team, I tried to make it fun, too. I put my name down as self-motivation but who knows if I will have to sell myself soon! That's because I don't think of myself as a player who produces stats so much as I help a team win games, even if my own numbers are lower.
Otherwise, I don't want to talk about the individual players I have chosen, not now or later on, when I buy and sell each week. Some are friends and some I have only heard about, but that is part of the risk-taking in a fantasy game, and I don't claim to be an expert, anyway. I'm just having fun like all of you!
What I know about this game I do because my friends have talked to me about strategy. They follow the stats, the injuries and all this stuff, so I will get some of the help I need from them this season. I think you have to buy players on teams where both that guy and his team build up numbers. This is often different from winning championships, so maybe looking at the best teams, which are usually deeper and share more minutes, isn't always the best strategy.
It is interesting that now that I have returned to Greece with Olympiacos, I am going to play NIKEiD Fantasy Challenge for the first time. I know that this is just the kind of game that the famous Greek fans like, so since I, too, am a fan of basketball, I am expecting to get hooked!
I hope you like my team!
