Unicaja signs Paul Shirley for one month

 Unicaja announced the signing of big man Paul Shirley for one month, pending the results of his medical exam. The contract is due to last until December 28. Shirley (208, 30) previously played in the Spanish League for ViveMenorca and DKV Joventut, as well as Panionios in Greece and Unics Kazan in Russia, but if registered by Unicaja would make his Euroleague debut. His signing comes on the heels of an injury crisis at the club, with power forward Marcus Haislip and center German Gabriel both sidelined.
