Hollis PriceArmani Jeans Milano made a pair of major additions to its roster in time for the Top 16. Head coach Piero Bucchi’s squad signed playmaker Hollis Price and power forward Maurice Taylor. Price (186, 29) arrives from Dynamo Moscow, but was among the best playmakers in his debut Euroleague campaign last season with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. Taylor (206, 32) last with Sacramento of the NBA, will play in Europe for the first time. His contract is for Euroleague games only.

Price is a proven Euroleague floor leader, who played a key role in L. Rytas making a run at the Quarterfinal Playoffs last season. Price averaged 16.9 points and 3.9 assists for L. Rytas in 20 Euroleague games. He finished as the Euroleague's third-best scorer of the 2008-09 season and ranked seventh in assists. This season he averaged 7.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2 steals in the Eurocup for Moscow. The move to Italy makes it Price's sixth country in the six seasons he has spent in Europe. Price had previously played three ULEB Cup seasons, with Le Mans of France between 2003 and 2005 and with Alba Maurice Taylor (Photo: nba.com)Berlin of Germany in 2005-06, while also spending a season with Seville of Spain. Price will help fill the void in Milano's roster left by injured guard Marco Mordente, who will miss a month of the Top 16 due to a hand injury that required surgery last week. Mordente was averaging 8.6 points off the bench as Milano's best three-point shooter.

Taylor had a lengthy NBA career spanning 534 games – nearly half of them as starters – with Los Angeles Clippers, Houston, New York and Sacramento over the course of nine seasons. He averaged 11 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for his career. Taylor was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team after his first season in 1997-98 and his best season was the 1999-2000 season with Los Angeles, when he averaged 17.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 62 games. Taylor, who was a college teammate of former Euroleague champion Maceo Baston and current Real Madrid star Louis Bullock at Michigan, has not played since January 2007.
