2008-09 All-Euroleague nominations
|
|
Voting for the All-Euroleague team by fans and media members around Europe and beyond has produced a world-class list of nominees for the 2008-09 season. Tens of thousands of fans from around the world were able to cast votes for their favorite players, as did media members from each of the countries with Euroleague teams this season. Teams that qualified to the Final Four dominated the nominations, with CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos having two nominees each, while Regal FC Barcelona had one. Three nominees came from non-Final Four teams. The All-Euroleague first and second teams, plus the Euroleague MVP, will be named at The Euroleague Basketball Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 2, during the Final Four in Berlin.
