PARTIZAN: Top prospect Mitrovic inks deal
Aleksandar Mitrovic (Photo: KK Partizan)Serbian and Adriatic League champion Partizan Belgrade continued restocking its roster for the 2009-10 season with the signing Tuesday of tall guard Aleksandar Mitrovic to a multi-year deal. Mitrovic (202, 18) arrives from Mega Hypo Leasing Beograd of the Serbian League, where he averaged 10.9 points, shot 42.9% on three-pointers and dished 1.4 assists in 23 games this season. He also helped his team to make it to the Balkan League semifinals. Mitrovic has been a member of the Serbian under-16, under-18 and under-20 national team. He helped Serbia win the bronze medal at the 2006 European under-16 Championships held in Jaen, Spain.

"I am happy to become a member of a club that is recognized in Europe and all around the world and that has achieved great results," Mitrovic said in an official press conference. "I will slowly try to make it to the team's rotation and win the trust of my coaches, teammates and fans."
