Le Mans adds swingman Charles Lombahe-Kahudi
Le Mans Sarthe Basket has bolstered its squad with the signing of Charles Lombahe-Kahudi for the coming season. Lombahe-Kahudi (196, 22) is the older brother of one of the top prospects in the Le Mans system, teenage guard Henri Kahudi. Last year Lombahe-Kahudi played for Dijon where he averaged 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11 minutes per game. A native of the Congo, Lombahe-Kahudi began his career at Cholet Basket in 2005 and later spent two seasons with Evreux.

"Le Mans is one of the biggest and best structured clubs in French basketball." Lombahe-Kahudi said after signing. "I often had the chance to see how things were run here. Once a proposal was made, I could not refuse. I know my role is not important at first. The coach expects me to use my athleticism to rebound and defend. I am hungry. I am a competitor and I like challenges. And what greater challenge than to sign here! "
