OLDENBURG extends reserves Strauch, Hain
Daniel Strauch - EWE Baskets Oldenburg (Photo: ewe-baskets.de)German champion EWE Baskets Oldenburg moved to keep its bench strong ahead of its first season in the Euroleague by extending the contracts of reserves Daniel Strauch and Daniel Hain. Strauch (206, 28) is a power forward who has been at Oldenburg for the past six seasons. He signed a one-year contract. Last year Strauch averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds over 5 minutes in 16 German League games and 2 points in 6 minutes over seven Eurochallenge games. Hain (195, 23) is a shooting guard who has been with Oldenburg for two seasons. He signed a two-year deal. Last season he averaged 0.6 points in 4 minutes over 25 German League games and 0.4 points in 2 minutes in five Eurochallenge appearances. Before joining Oldenburg Hain played for Herten. The two join Jason Gardner, Jasmin Perkovic and Rickey Paulding as players from last season;s squad that will remain at Oldenburg.
