Montepaschi tabs forward David Moss
Montepaschi Siena reached an agreement with forward David Moss, who inked a three-year deal with the Euroleague powerhouse, the club confirmed Friday. Moss (196, 25) arrives from Banca Tercas Teramo, where he averaged 12.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 34 Italian League games last season. He helped Teramo to rank third at the end of the Italian League regular season, helping his team to reach the playoffs and the Italian Cup semifinals and had a season-high 22 points against Montepaschi on February 8. He also led the Italian League in minutes per game at more (35.1) and was chosen as the best small forward in the competition. Moss has also played for Fileni Bpa Jesi in Italy and Polpak Swiecie in Poland since finishing his four-year career at Indiana State University (NCAA). He helped Jesi to win the Italian second division Cup and reach the Italian second division title series in 2008. Moss is now ready to take a major step forwards in his short, promising career it what will be his Euroleague debut season.
