Aris signs veteran big man Dimos Dikoudis
Aris BSA 2003 strengthened its roster as it aims for a return to the Euroleague by signing a former champion, Dimos Dikoudis, who arrives from Panionios On Telecoms. The sides agreed on a two-year deal. Dikoudis (207, 32) has had a decorated career and played eight Euroleague seasons with five teams– AEK Athens, Pamesa, CSKA Moscow, Panathinaikos and Panionios. He won the 2007 Euroleague crown with Panathinaikos. Last season Dikoudis joined Panionios after the start of the season and proceeded to average 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in four Euroleague games – half of them coming off the bench. Among his career highlights, Dikoudis has won the gold medal at the 2005 European Championships and the silver at the 2006 World Championships with the Greek national team. He also lifted the 2000 Saporta Cup with AEK Athens, has won three Greek championships and four Greek Cups, one Russian championship and one Russian Cup.
