ASSECO PROKOM brings back Tyrone Brazelton
Tyrone Brazelton - Asseco ProkomCombo-guard Tyrone Brazelton will stay with Asseco Prokom for the coming season after the sides agreed to an extension on Thursday. Brazelton (183, 23) joined Prokom midway through last season and averaged 3.7 points and 1.7 assists in six Euroleague appearances after arriving from BK Ventspils of Latvia. He produced 10 points, 5 assists and 2 steals to help Prokom pick up its lone road win in the Euroleague at Armani Jeans Milano. He also helped the club successfully defend the Polish League title. Brazelton had posted 13.2 points, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 11 Baltic League games with Ventspils, his first professional team after finishing his college basketball career at Western Kentucky University. Brazelton averaged 14.4 points, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 36 NCAA games in the 2007-08 season, his senior year at Western Kentucky. He helped the Hilltoppers to lift the Sun Belt Tournament and reach the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2008.
