Cibona brings back big man Bagaric
Dalibor Bagaric returns to CibonaAfter a decade apart, Cibona Zagreb and Dalibor Bagaric have reunited, the club announced on Tuesday. Bagaric (216, 29) arrives from Fortitudo Bologna, where he spent the last two seasons, as well as two others between 2004 and 2006. Due to injury, Bagaric appeared in only one Eurocup game last season for Fortitudo, but played sparingly in 19 Italian League games. His best Euroleague season with Fortitudo was 2005-06, when Bagaric averaged 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19 minutes per game. Bagaric had previously played for Cibona in the 1998-99 season, averaging 6.8 points as a teenager while winning the Croatian League and cup double. The years immediately before his season with Cibona, Bagaric played for another Croatian club, Benston. He then left for Chicago of the NBA, spending three seasons there between 2000 and 2003, before returning to Europe with Olympiacos in 2003-04. In between his stints with Fortitudo, Bagaric played the 2006-07 season at Girona of the Spanish League, with whom he took the 2007 FIBA EuroCup crown. Along the way, Bagaric also won the 2005 Italian League with Fortitudo.
