CAJA LABORAL adds Vladimir Micov
Vladimir Micov joins Caja LaboralCaja Laboral deepened its perimeter rotation by signing Vladimir Micov, a swingman who arrives from Panionios. Micov (203, 24) averaged 10.2 points, 3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in six Eurocup games for Panionios, marking the second season in a row that he averaged double figures in points in Europe’s second club competition. He grew up at Beopetrol Belgrade in his native Serbia and has also played for Nova Pazova, OKK Belgrade, Lavovi 063 Belgrade and Partizan in Serbia as well as Buducnost Podgorica in Montenegro and Panionios in Greece. Among his career highlights are one Serbian League championships and a pair of Montenegrin League and Cup doubles. Micov represented the Serbian national team at the junior levels, winning a gold medal at the 2001 European Under-16 Championships and a bronze medal at the 2005 European U-20 Championships.
