Partizan Belgrade and former point guard Milt Palacio will reunite this season with the veteran playmaker signing a one-year deal with the Serbian champs. Palacio (190, 31) made his Euroleague debut a successful one with Partizan two years ago, but moved to Khimki Moscow last summer. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.9 assists in 15 Eurocup games last season, helping Khimki reach the title game of the competition. The previous season Palacio was worth 12.5 points and 3.3 assists in 23 Euroleague games. He was a key reason that the club shocked many by reaching the Euroleague Quarterfinal Playoffs, averaging 20.3 points in a three-game win streak in March that eliminated then-defending champion Panathinaikos. His performance earned Palacio Euroleague MVP honors for March. He also helped Partizan win the Adriatic League, Serbian League and Serbian Cup that year. Before taking his game to Europe, Palacio played most of his professional career in North America, taking part in 470 games in the NBA for Vancouver, Boston, Phoenix, Cleveland, Toronto and Utah.
