Caja Laboral's Herrmann has knee surgery
Caja Laboral forward Walter Herrmann will have to wait a little longer than he planned to make his return to European basketball. Herrmann underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee for a small tear and treatment of bursitis on Thursday. Dr. Mikel Sanchez conducted the procedure at the La Esperanza clinic. Herrmann will remain overnight at the clinic before being released. He is expected to return to action in two months. Herrmann, who played four seasons in Spain including three in the Euroleague for Unicaja before heading overseas, signed with Caja Laboral in July.
