|
Euroleague Basketball is proud to announce that agreements have been reached with broadcasting partners to ensure that Euroleague games will be seen throughout the 2009-10 season in three of the world's biggest television markets. Turkey, Germany and the United States have all reached agreements to offer Euroleague programming during the season, which opens for the majority of teams on Wednesday and Thursday. In Germany, the new host broadcaster is Sportdigital, which will follow a debut team from that country, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, throughout the season. In Turkey, Euroleague games may once again be seen on Skyturk, which will cover the games of Efes Pilsen and its group. And in the U.S., broadcasts of Euroleague games will be available once again on NBA TV. The agreements raise Euroleague's world-wide television coverage to a total of 45 broadcasters reaching 157 countries and territories. Euroleague highlights, top plays and other selected videos will also be available this season on video distribution networks such as Reuters, SNTV, EBU and Newsmarket. For a third consecutive season, any fan in the world can subscribe to Euroleague.TV to see games live or on demand, as well as daily original video content about the Euroleague.
