Datome out 3 weeks for Roma
Luigi Datome - Lottomatica RomaLottomatica Roma came through in its Euroleague opener despite missing a projected starter, small forward Luigi Datome, who is expected to also be out of the next two games with a thigh muscle injury. Datome injured the abductor muscle of his right thigh in practice on Tuesday night. Following and MRI text, team doctors diagnosed the injury and said that Datome will miss three weeks. Fortunately for Roma, at the same time that Datome becomes unavailable, veteran Rodrigo De la Fuente is returning from injury, the team announced at the press conference following its home victory on Thursday against Caja Laboral. De la Fuente had not played so far this season due to a calf injury. He is expected to be on the floor for an Italian League game on Sunday.
