Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge, Week 3 winner
Fantasy Challenge One of the lowest-scoring weeks in the history of Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge, now in its sixth season, produced the second prize winner in a row from Greece, as Ioannis Papanikos of Greece and his team "betojohn" came out on top with 201.1 points. Indeed, Ioannis was the only Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge manager to have a team with more than 200 points this week, which is very rare. By comparison, 16 different teams had 200 or more in Week 2 and dozens did so in Week 1. For his efforts, Ioannis will receive an official Euroleague basketball as his prize! Start making changes now for the Week 4 deadline, 17:15 CET on Wednesday, November 11, one hour before the first games of the week, Maroussi vs. Caja Laboral and CSKA Moscow vs. Union Olimpija. There was no change at the top of the overall standings after Week 3 of Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge. Tomasz Pycia of Poland and his team "himym", after scoring 150.6 points this week, still hold the top spot in the regular season standings with a three-week total of 561.1. Now, however, his closest pursuer is just 11 points behind Tomasz. At the end of 10 weeks, of course, the competition for regular season champion will end with some great prizes: A team jersey signed by the player winner's choice and €100 worth of Sportingbet Free Bets. And of course the eventual overall winner, after 16 weeks, gets a grand prize that is unique in the world: a VIP trip for two to the 2010 Final Four in Paris and €500 worth of Sportingbet Free Bets. So, keep adding teams and trying your luck all season long in Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge!
