Fenerbahce Ulker, Willie Solomon part ways
Fenerbahce Ulker and point guard Willie Solomon parted ways over the weekend. Solomon's contract was terminated by mutual consent, the team announced in a press release. Solomon had missed FB Ulker's last Euroleague for disciplinary reasons. He averaged 9 points in his two Euroleague appearances this season, both as a starter. Solomon rejoined the team last season with a multi-year deal after previously playing for the team for two seasons between 2006 and 2008. He has also played in the Euroleague for Efes Pilsen and Maccabi Tel Aviv and won the 2004 ULEB Cup with Hapoel Jerusalem.
