Asseco Prokom tries out Junior Harrington
Junior Harrington joins ProkomAsseco Prokom confirmed the addition of playmaker Junior Harrington, who inked a short-term deal with the reigning Polish League champions. Harrington (193, 29) already made his Prokom debut in the Polish League this weekend and is ready to help the team against Euroleague defending champion Panathinaikos. He arrives from Union Olimpija, where he averaged 8.5 points in 8 Adriatic League games last season. He also took part in a Euroleague game against Alba Berlin, where he had 5 points to lead Olimpija to a road win. Harrington won the Slovenian League and the Slovenian Cup titles with Olimpija. He has also played for Lokomotiv Rostov in Russia, the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Hornets and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA, Pamesa Valencia in Spain and Azovmash in Ukraine. Harrington lifted the Ukrainian League trophy with Azovmash in 2004 and made it to the Spanish King's Cup final with Pamesa in 2006.
