Caja Laboral to rest Oleson
Caja Laboral has announced that one of its major off-season signigns, forward Brad Oleson, will miss more time in order to rest an injury that has been bothering him all season. Oleson, 26, joined the team over the summer with a pre-existing ankle injury, but has yet to play on it without pain. He missed the first game of the season due to the injury, and therefore made his debut in Week 2. Oleson averaged 8.7 points in 20 minutes as Caja Laboral won three games in a row with him on the floor. In a statement, the club said that Oleson will become inactive in order to rest the ankle starting Monday, November 23. There is no fixed time for the rest period, the statement said. Oleson's ankle was operated on in Vitoria, Spain, where Caja Laboral is located, in mid-August. Oleson had played one season in Europe before this, ranking second in the Spanish League in scoring last while playing for Fuenlabrada.
