Week 11 MVP: Tanoka Beard, Zalgiris Kaunas
Tanoka Beard - Zalgiris A classic Euroleague big man takes center stage again as Tanoka Beard of Zalgiris Kaunas became the regular season Week 11 MVP by achieving the highest individual index rating of the competition despite his team's home loss to Fenerbahce Ulker. This marks the fifth time in his Euroleague career that Beard has earned weekly MVP honors. Beard scored 17 points on 7-of-11 two-pointers and grabbed 13 rebounds against Fenerbahce. He added 4 assists, 3 blocks and 5 fouls drawn for an index rating of 31, the best among all Euroleague players this week. Rudy Fernandez of DKV Joventut, Travis Hansen of Dynamo Moscow and Marcus Haislip of Efes Pilsen, each with a 27 index, complete the top individual perfomances of the week.
