Euroleague CEO meets Polish press
In a show of commitment to Polish basketball, Euroleague Basketball CEO Jordi Bertomeu gave a press conference in Gdansk, Poland prior to Wednesday's game between host Asseco Prokom Gdynia and Real Madrid. The purpose of the meeting was to further explain the good ties between the Euroleague and the club, which is in its sixth consecutive season in the competition. Mr. Bertomeu and club president Przemyslaw Seczkowski both emphasized the continuing dialogue enjoyed by all parties. Mr. Bertomeu commented that in terms of arena development, a key aspect of the Euroleague's recent restructuring plans, Asseco Prokom is meeting expectations.
