Maccabi, Maciej Lampe part ways
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv announced on Monday that the team has parted ways with center Maciej Lampe. Lampe arrived to the club the last summer with high expectations following a good performance with the Polish national team at EuroBasket 2009. He appeared in eight Euroleague games and averaged 8 points and 3.8 rebounds while saving his best performance against Maccabi's opponent this week, Maroussi BC, when he tallied 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists for an index rating of 30 back in Week 5. In the Israeli League, Lampe took part in only five games and recorded 6.6 points and 4 rebounds per game. He is expected to sign with another team shortly.
