Fantasy Challenge, Top 16 Week 1 injury update
The Top 16 is here and so is a brand new, decisive phase in
Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge
, with another big prize coming up soon. Ander Olalde of Spain and his team "Mulholland Drive" posted the highest score of 231.4 in Week 10, finishing the regular season in style. That was 6.2 points higher than his nearest pursuer. For his effort, Ander will receive an official Euroleague basketball as his prize! The season's first major title, that of regular season champ, belongs already to Jorge Martinez Ribes of Spain. Jorge, who won Fantasy Challenge back in 2007, became the regular season winner with his team "KOKE MARTINEZ IS READY TO WIN", which amassed 1.749,7 points and finished less than one point ahead of the second-ranked team - which was also his! His prize is bigger than ever for the season's first phase winner: a team jersey signed by the winner's choice of player, plus 100€ worth of Sportingbet Free Bets. Of course, the teams that are currently best are also contenders to be Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge's grand prize winner at the end of the contest. The top team after all 16 weeks gets a grand prize that is unique in the world: a VIP trip for two to the 2010 Final Four in Paris and €500 worth of Sportingbet Free Bets! Be sure to beat the next deadline at 17:15 CET on Wednesday, January 27, one hour before Top 16 Week 1's first game, CSKA vs. Unicaja. Open trading will be available up to that point and only three trades per week will be offered from then on. Good luck!
