French League champion Limoges CSP reached an agreement with swingman Mark Payne to work together for the next two seasons, the club announced Monday. Payne (2.03 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, where he averaged 15.1 points, 5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 30 French League games last season. He ranked third in performance index ranking (18.3 per game) in the French League last season. Payne played the 2011-12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague with Unicaja Malaga, averaging 2.6 points in 7 games. Payne has also played for PAOK Thessaloniki and Panionios ON Telecoms Athens in Greece, as well as for Clinicas Rincon in Spain. Limoges also announced a five-year deal with forward Mathieu Wojciechowski this weekend. Wojciechowski (2.03 meters, 22 years old) arrives from ESSM Le Portel Cote d'Opale, where he averaged 9.9 points and 4 rebounds in 40 French second division games last season. He started his career with Lille Metropole Baskets Club and soon joined BCM Gravelines, playing a Eurocup games with that team in the 2011-12 season. He helped Le Portel reach the French Cup final last season.
