FC Barcelona Lassa further strengthened its roster by signing guard Pau Ribas to a three-deal, the club announced Thursday. Ribas (1.96 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Valencia Basket, where he has played for the last three seasons. He averaged 9.4 points on 42.2% three-point shooting, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 10 Eurocup games last season. Ribas played a key role in helping Valencia win the Eurocup title in 2014; He hit a series-winning shot as Valencia eliminated Khimki Moscow Region in the eighthfinals. Ribas also helped Valencia reach the Eurocup semifinals and the Copa del Rey final in 2013 and made it to the Spanish League semifinals in each of the last two seasons.
