Quarterfinal analysis: Olympiacos vs. Asseco Prokom
In a classic matchup between a Euroleague powerhouse and a the new kid on the block, Olympiacos Piraeus aims to return to the Final Four for the second year in a row at the expense of Asseco Prokom Gdynia, which checks into the Quarterfinal Playoffs for the first time in club history. The series marks the second year in a row that the two clubs met after the Reds swept the Polish champs in the Top 16 last season by an average margin of 19 points. But Prokom is a far more confident team this season, in part thanks to a breakout campaign from forward Qyntel Woods, who made his Euroleague debut three seasons ago with Olympiacos. A key to the series is the home-court advantage, since Olympiacos boasts a 13-game winning streak at its home floor, the Peace and Friendship Stadium, where Games 1, 2 and if necessary, 5, will all take place.

Quarterfinal Analyst
YOTAM HALPERIN
Although he's just 26 years old, two-time Euroleague champion Yotam Halperin of Olympiacos has all the experience of a true veteran. From his start as a teenage backup to Maccabi Tel Aviv's stars, through a wisely-chosen detour to Union Olimpija, then back to his boyhood club to become an All-Euroleague selection, Halperin has kept growing and succeeding. Now, in his second season at Piraeus, Halperin has staked his claim in the starting lineup and is intent on joining the Reds on a second consecutive trip to the Final Four.

Quarterfinal Analyst
RATKO VARDA
Asseco Prokom Gdynia has surprised a lot of people with its history-making run as the first Polish team to reach the Quarterfinal Playoffs, One of the reasons why Prokom improved so much in the Top 16 in order to reach the playoffs was the arrival of center Ratko Varda, who balanced the team in many ways. Varda provided Prokom experience and a low-post presence that allowed Ronnie Burrell and Jan Jagla to open the court with their outside shooting.
