CSKA Moscow, forward Nichols remain together
After he played a key role as a reserve last season, CSKA Moscow and forward Demetris Nichols will remain together for the 2015-16 campaign too. Nichols (2.03 meters, 30 years old) first came to CSKA on a two-week trial at the beginning of the season, but impressed and soon became an important contributor, he averaged 4.6 points on 57.5% three-point shooting plus 2 rebounds in 27 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games to help CSKA reach the Final Four and 5.1 points on 48.3% three-point shooting and 2.2 rebounds in 33 VTB United League games as CSKA claimed the title. Nichols has also played for Krasnye Krilya Samara in Russia, Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rico, Sioux Falls and Iowa of the D-League, Cholet Basket, BCM Gravelines Dunkerque and JA Vichy Val d'Allier Auvergne Basket in France, as well as for Chicago and New York of the NBA.
