Quarterfinal analysis: CSKA Moscow vs. Caja Laboral
After having already met in the Regular Season's last game with the top spot in Group C on the line, CSKA Moscow and Caja Laboral now clash with a much greater prize at stake - a trip to the 2010 Euroleague Final Four in Paris. CSKA and Laboral have already known their fair share of big-time battles. In 2005, Laboral - then called Tau Ceramica - stunned CSKA in Moscow in the semifinals at the Final Four, though only two players, CSKA's J.R. Holden and Laboral's Tiago Splitter, remain from those rosters. Three years later, CSKA exacted revenge at the Final Four in Madrid en route to its second Euroleague crown in three seasons. Now, two of the strongest teams of the last decade will square off again with only one able to get back to the Final Four. The teams' biggest stars, Ramunas Siskauskas of CSKA and Splitter, both had big games in their two regular season meetings and could be the players to watch in this exciting series.

Quarterfinal Analyst
ANDREY VORONTSEVICH
Already a Euroleague champion at age 22, Andrey Vorontsevic has blossomed this season into the promising power forward he hinted at becoming while waiting his turn on a team full of veterans. Vorontsevich was ready to grab it with both hands. In 2010, he has posted his Euroleague career highs in almost every statistical category. Now, as CSKA faces Caja Laboral in a five-game Quarterfinal Playoffs series starting March 23, expect Vorontsevich to be ready for the call again. "We know their strongest options and what our opponents can do,"
Vorontsevich says
. "There is little room for surprises."

FERNANDO SAN EMETERIO
The fiery Fernando San Emeterio is enjoying a career season for Caja Laboral as a do-it-all swingman. While various teammates missed a total of 29 games with injury, San Emeterio has played every one, and now ranks among Laboral's top three players in scoring, three-pointers, offensive rebounds, assists and steals. Now, San Emeterio's efforts are certain to be crucial in Caja Laboral's quarterfinal matchup with CSKA Moscow. "They know how to play games like these,"
San Emeterio said
. "Only with strength and concentration at every moment can we try to overcome their experience."
