Final Four to feature new Player Development Clinic
Christopher ThomasEuroleague Basketball is proud to introduce a new event for the 2010 Final Four in Paris, the first ever Player Development Clinic. The Euroleague and Nike have come together to create the clinic, which will be led by Nike SPARQ (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness) Master Basketball Trainer Christopher Thomas, founder of 100% Hoops. Thomas will conduct a session on “Functional Movement & SPARQ Training for Basketball Development” scheduled for Saturday, May 8 at 17:00 CET. Thomas’s training objective is to improve the quality of basketball players by helping them appreciate the effects of positive attitude, work ethic, self-discipline and self-determination. The Player Development Clinic follows in the tradition of the coaches clinic, which has been a popular Final Four tradition in the past. It will be held on the Sonja Henie Court in the Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy, the site of the Nike International Juniors Tournament, and attendance will be free for the public.
