Week 5 MVP, 2004-05: Dejan Milojevic,Partizan
One great performance after another has marked the first month of the 2004-05 Euroleague Regular Season. A week after the third-highest index rating on record was reached, Dejan Milojevic of Partizan PMB became the Week 5 MVP by going one higher tying the second-best mark ever. Milojevic led Partizan to its first Group A victory, 87-73 at home against Olympaicos, with a dominating show for the home fans in Belgrade. The 27-year-old forward scored 35 points on 13-for-16 two point shooting and 9-for-11 free throws while also posting 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 7 fouls drawn. His total index rating was 55, the highest of the season, one more that of Cibona guard Marko Popovic, last week's MVP. It also tied the second-best ever, which Jaka Lakovic had for Krka Novo Mesto in 2001-02. The absolute record, 63, was set last season by Zalgiris center Tanoka Beard.
