Week 7 MVP, 2004-05: Chris Williams, Opel Skyliners
Week 7 not only marked the end of the first leg of the Euroleague Regular Season, but also was the first week in which a player earning MVP honors for a second time in 2004-05. That player is Opel Skyliners forward Chris Williams, who despite a road loss at mighty CSKA Moscow, had an index rating of 39 based one of the closest attempts yet at a triple-double in a Euroleague game. Against one of the Euroleague's toughest defenses, Williams scored 30 points on 10-of-18 two-point shooting, 1 of 2 three-pointers and 7 of 9 free throws. He also pulled 11 rebounds, made 9 steals, dished 4 assists, blocked 2 shots and drew 7 fouls. As such, Williams added this week's MVP honor to the one he already earned in Week 3.
