Chorale Roanne adds scoring ace KC Rivers
KC Rivers - Benetton BasketChorale Roanne started to get ready for the 2010-11 Euroleague Qualifying Round by landing scoring machine KC Rivers, who inked a one-year with his new team on Tuesday. Rivers (196, 23) arrives from Benetton Basket, where he averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 8 Eurocup games last season. Rivers had started the 2009-10 season with A.B. Latina from the Italian Legadue, where he averaged 24.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game in his first professional stop. Rivers was a college star at Clemson University, where he averaged 14.2 points and 6 rebounds per game as a senior. He left the school as its all-time leader in games won (91), games played (134) and three-pointers made (281). He was also third in steals (210) and sixth in scoring (1,684).
