Allen (203, 29) agreed to terms on a two-year deal with Berlin. He arrives from fellow German side Deutsche Bank Skyliners, where he has played for the past three seasons. Allen has spent the past six in German basketball, developing into one of the most feared forwards in the league. Last season Allen averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, helping the Skyliners reach the German League finals. He played one season in the ULEB Cup with the Skyliners, finish sixth in the competition in scoring (19.9 ppg.) and fifth in rebounding (7.9 rpg.) in the regular season. Allen led the German League in scoring in the 2006-07 season with Bayer Giants Leverkusen, where he averaged 16.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Marko Marinovic - Power Electronics Valencia - Finals 2010 Vitoria-GasteizMarinovic (183, 27) signed a one-year contract with Berlin. He arrives from Power Electronics Valencia, with whom he won the Eurocup last season, scoring 12 points off the bench to beat Berlin in the title game. Marinovic was a source of instant offense for Valencia last season, averaging 6.8 points in 14 minutes per game in a reserve role. He grew up at Borac Cacak where he played from 2001 to 2004. Later marinovic moved to FMP and played in the ULEB Cup and won Serbia & Montenegro Cup in 2005. He averaged 11.8 points, 3.3 assists and 2.7 steals in 11 ULEB Cup appearances that season. He won his first continental title in 2006 with Girona, the FIBA Euro Cup. After another season in Spain with ViveMenorca, Marinovic played for Crvena Zvezda in 2008-09 before joining Valencia last summer.

"With the high intensity and will to win that he plays each game with, Derrick Allen has been one of the best players in the German League over the past few years," head coach Luka Pavicevic said. "We are pleased to have a player with such a positive, infectious attitude in our ranks. Marko Marinovic, despite his young age, has a lot of experience in major European competitions and has already proven himself in the strongest league in Europe. He is known for his excellent attitude and the positive energy he brings a team. We hope with these qualities he makes our team even better."
