Cibona names Radulovic as new head coach
Zdravko RadulovicCroatian champion Cibona Zagreb announced on Monday the addition of Zdravko Radulovic, 44, as the new head coach of the team. Radulovic and Cibona signed a two-year deal. He replaces Velimir Perasovic, who switched Euroleague teams to Efes Pilsen earlier in the simmer. Radulovic began his coaching career at KK Zagreb and last season coached KK Cedevita to the Croatian League semifinals. Before entering coaching, Radulovic was a star scorer with Cibona in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He led the Euroleague in scoring during the 1992-93 season. Radulovic was also a member of the Yugsolavian national team, with whom he won a silver medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and a gold medal at EuroBasket 1989.
