Euroleague Qualifying Rounds participant Hemofarm Stada added size in the frontcourt by signing power forward Ivan Maras to a two-year contract. Maras (24, 209) split last season between KK Buducnost, where he had played four-plus seasons, and Metalac Valjevo of the Serbian League. In his last Eurocup season, 2008-09 with Buducnost, Maras averaged 10 points in six games and finished 12th among all the competition's players with 72.7% two-point shooting accuracy. Maras grew up with Buducnost, with whom he won two Montenegrin League and national cup double titles. Last season, he put up 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game for Buducnost in the Adriatic league. "I am satisfied that I am coming to an extremely well organized club with championship ambitions," Maras said after signing. Maras is currently partaking in Montenegro national team training.
