Now the German powerhouse looks to use that as a springboard to return to the Euroleague. Alba has everything a club needs to settle in among the European elite: a stable, ambitious and dedicated management team, a passionate fan base and a state-of-the-art arena. Coach Luka Pavicevic brings back the core of last season's team to turn the above into Euroleague success.

EWE Baskets OldenburgChorale Roanne was among the Euroleague's most entertaining teams when it made the competition in 2007-08. Now it looks to do that and then some through the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds this fall. Roanne has been active already this offseason making the necessary moves for the team to be ready to go from the first tip-off to challenge the best in Europe and to continue forging its name as one of French basketball's fastest-growing clubs.

Hemofarm will rely on well-rounded veterans like Miljan Pavkovic, Bojan Krstovic and former Eurocup rising star Milan Macvan to lead the charge as it battles hard for a Euroleague spot.

Hapoel Galil GilboaThe new Israeli champion plays the preliminary rounds of Europe's top competition for the third time, seeking to join the best club's in Europe for the first time. GasTerra FlamesDutch League champion GasTerra Flames can become the first Dutch team to reach the Euroleague group stage since Den Helder did it in 1992. Nymburk has the chance to write a new page in the history books and put the Czech Republic back on the Euroleague map.

Spirou BasketBelgian powerhouse Spirou Basket got a taste of the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds last season and now hopes to build on that experience by breaking through and getting to Europe's premier competition. It reached the Saporta Cup semifinals in 1982 and last played the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds in 1995 - being the last Ukrainian team to do so, too. It took Budivelnyk 15 years to get another chance to get to Europe's signature competition and the club is ready to make the most out of this opportunity.

Maroussi BCThe Cinderella story of the 2009-10 Euroleague season, Maroussi hopes lightening strikes twice as it enters the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds for the second season in a row.
