EA7 Emporio Armani Milan added athleticism and versatility to its roster by inking swingman Awudu Abass for next season on Friday. Abass (1.99 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Acqua Vitasnella Cantu, where he averaged 13.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 30 Italian League games last season. Awass started his career with Cantu and played there until this summer. He is also a member of the Italian national team. Awass helped Italy win a gold medal at the 2013 U20 European Championships, averaging 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 6 games. He saw some playing time in the 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague, averaging 3.5 points and 6 rebounds in a couple of games with Cantu.
